We have been very lucky this summer as the young adults from the National Citizenship Scheme have been at the Homes over the last few weeks to carry out some work on our gardens and allotment areas.

Along with tidying up the allotment area, one group of young adults re-built our pond in Poppy Lane.

Not only have they been doing gardening and maintenance work for us, they have held three coffee mornings for our residents to which they brought lovely homemade cakes for us to enjoy!

Staff and residents from the Homes would like to thank everyone from the Scheme for all their hard work over the last few weeks.
